Precarious Situations

2003

Precarious Situations is a series of small lightboxes that were shown at the Sylvia Schmidt Gallery in New Orleans, LA in 2003. They are made of stained glass with fired in pigments. There is screen printing, sandblasting and very detailed hand painting, involving techniques that go back to the Middle Ages.

The boxes are poplar with plywood backs. They are assorted sizes. The largest is about 9" x 18" x 4".

Each of the lightboxes presents difficult circumstances of one kind or another.
